The Chanel Classic Flap, also known as the Timeless, descends from the 2.55 that Gabrielle Chanel created in February 1955. In 1983, Karl Lagerfeld gave it its now iconic interlocking CC turn-lock, while keeping the quilted leather, the chain strap woven with leather and the burgundy lining. From the Mini to the Small, Medium, Jumbo and Maxi, in lambskin or caviar leather, it remains the house's signature bag.
